Wind-Down Wednesday: Plant Closures Strike Eight “Out-Of-Basin” Frac Sand Mines

Infill Thinking first reported talk of out-of-basin plant closures a month ago back in August. Here’s an excerpt from our “Zombie Plant” update on August 24:

On Wednesday, two of the biggest established sand producers independently announced that a combined total of Xmm tons of capacity will be curtailed across X of their combined plants.
