Infill Thinking Combines With Coras Research To Enhance And Expand Service

Founder’s Message To Infill Thinking Readers

We have some big news about the Infill Thinking research platform to share.

Yesterday evening, we announced a business combination with Coras Research. Many of you are probably familiar with Coras Research, especially if you are an Analyst Plan member since we’ve collaborated with this like-minded energy data firm on Think Sheets datasets in the past. Today’s deal solidifies our energy research partnership.

First and foremost, I want to assure you that the Infill Thinking website, our brand, my role at the firm, our team, your newsletters, and everything else you love about the existing service is unchanged.

Second and just as important, our product will benefit from better resources and frac data – call it ‘insight synergies’ in our transaction – as we become one team with the data scientists at Coras.

Product improvements will be most noticeable in our Analyst Plan data service, which will incorporate valuable new datasets imminently. I will be following up with our Think Sheets clients directly soon to share more information about the new tools you will gain. Our written product will benefit from insight synergies as well.

In addition, the Coras and Infill Thinking teams have partnered to develop a new Energy & Industrials market research platform for institutional users – Lium Research.

Under the Lium brand, our expanded team launched a data service, interactive models, and reports yesterday evening covering a broader spectrum of the U.S. energy value chain.

I encourage you to check out our 6-part launch report at the new website today (it is available with a free basic registration at www.lium.com, and you can also access the launch overview in PDF form by clicking here).

If a broader view of the U.S. energy markets, including power and renewables, seen through the lens of data science with human touch sounds interesting, we hope you’ll check Lium out.

Meanwhile, it is our honor to continue writing for you here at Infill Thinking.

Best wishes for a thought-filled rest of the week,
Joseph
