We have now confirmed with multiple industry sources that recent thefts of in-basin frac sand have introduced a new Permian Basin supply chain risk. Big sand companies have been targeted over the past two weeks, and they are now on high alert trying to improve supply chain protocols to stop some large thefts that have occurred.
