General Thoughts From Last Week’s Eagle Ford Field Trip [BOOTS ON THE GROUND]

We spent last Wednesday and Thursday driving more than 1,000 miles around Eagle Ford gathering completions market intel and facility information last week.

We saw frac sand mines, terminals, frac crews, and plenty of sand trucks across the basin. The 9 frac sand mines that we saw comprise more than half the local sand supply base in the Eagle Ford shale.

Special thanks to all the oilfield leaders who hosted us for their hospitality, knowledge and time. No industry has better (or friendlier) talent than shale.

In the coming days, we’ll publish a series of site-specific reports, but we kick off our field trip takeaways here today with some firsthand industry observations on the Eagle Ford completions and supply chain markets.

There’s a lot more to this story…
